The Indonesian government has been attempting to prepare itself through Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka because the role of education in improving human resources is critical in realizing human resources with 21st-century skills which are also known as 4C (Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration). This challenge will undoubtedly encourage academics and educators to improve their quality in implementing technological innovation in education. As a result, having this conference as a forum for academics to discuss and share knowledge with one another in welcoming the era of society 5.0 is essential. The greatest hope for academics, educators, and students is that this activity will increase knowledge and sources of reference in the implementation of technology in the world of education. Thus, The Faculty of Teaching and Education, Islamic University of Riau, recognizes the needs of academics, educators, and students by hosting “The 1st Solerams (Sport, Language, Educational Technology, Multicultural, and Sciences) International Conference in 2023 with the theme Creating digital classroom on education. This conference focuses on educational technology issues from multiple disciplines of knowledge that can be developed in teaching, such as Blended Learning, Mobile Learning, Flipped Learning, and learning media, as well as the most recent technological innovations (platforms) that could emerge from these activities based on research.
